By this time tomorrow.... [May. 19th, 2005|04:24 pm]

[music |WERS all a-cappella sunday show recorded for later use.]

By this time tomorrow I will be basking in Florida. I'm going for a week with my parents, my brother and his girlfriend, and asdr83. It ought to be good. Anyone want something from Disney? Let me know. *grin*

This does, of course, mean that contacting me will be spotty over the next week, due mostly to lack of decent internet connection at our lodgings. I might have intermittent e-mail access, and I will definitely have my cell phone if it's important.

So, what else has been going on with Laurion recently? Well, we're rolling into project mode here at work. Contrary to popular opinion, summer is not the slow season here for me, and is often the busiest season, excepting a week or two at the beginning of each semester. Me? I'm rolling with it, doing a pretty good job of taking care of things, given that my mind is already sunbathing.

Went to asdr83's graduation and party. It was good; the speakers (for the most part) proved at least tolerable, and none was too long-winded. The next day I ran the concom meeting, and that went pretty well, although I've been a little neglectful of the things I said I would do because I've been packing. I'll get to it when I come back. If anyone reading this would like to volounteer or would like to stop by and see how these things happen, our next meeting will be June 26th.

***This is a reminder that all of you should come to the None of the Above Spring Fevah concert on June 4th, right here in Waltham. Go to http://noneabove.org for details.**** We've got a lot of cool music lined up, and it would mean a lot to see familiar faces in the crowd. It's cheaper than the movies, and a portion goes to charity. The rest goes to covering the costs of microphones and other equipment so we can start recording a demo cd.

Until next time, be merry!
