For the first time, a Turk has won the Nobel Prize in Literature.  Congratulations go to Orhan Pamuk for his notable achievement, even if it did break the streak for us.

In some cases, a complete sweep is also known as a Boston.  I'm unfamiliar with the origins of this.  I should look it up.

I've seen it in trick taking card games where one team/person takes all the tricks.

I'm starting to think the word originated as a whist term, perhaps deriving from Boston Whist, a simple trick taking variant with an auction style bidding round added.
