This would be a very keen christmas gift, don't you think?

But I know how to add one, and wire it up to the keyboard trigger for MAME's coin insert.

Hurm. If it doesn't have Ms. PacMan...I can buy a Ms. PacMan unit for about $650.

I *could*. I have a credit card, even. But I'm resisting. Even though they took it out of my local theatre lobby. :(

Ah, even better, it's a computer inside. With MAME you can play Ms. Pacman and thousands of other arcade games.

Or configure it to play any modern computer game as well.

I frequently play Ms. Pacman on my computer on lunch break....

They also sell table sized units... just like the old pizza parlors used to have!

Not...that...old. >-0

There are maybe three arcade games that I would bother playing. Buying a multi-purpose unit might be possible but I'd have to see it in action first. I've seen some crummy emulators.

True, I remember seeing a few of them myself, in the odd Chuck E. Cheese or Putt-Putt. Ask me to show you the MAME emulator some time when I have my laptop around.

I meant old in the sense that nobody makes pizza parlors like they used to. Now they're all pizza, and no parlor.

("They don't make 'em like they used to", now don't I sound old?)
