Starting a little spring cleaning… [Mar. 28th, 2009|10:15 pm]
Laurion

So in the process of cataloging and cleaning up the DVD cabinet, a few items have come up which we have decided to willingly part with. Please feel free to take a look at the items posted at www.chadbergeron.com… and let us know if you;re interested in taking any of them away…

Stripes

That's not the edition of Stripes with all the extras, is it?

Re: Stripes

No, I don't think so. According to the back of the case, it features interactive menus (!), english and french languages and subtitles, theatrical trailers, scene selection, widescreen and fullscreen. Nothing that strikes me as 'extras'.

Re: Stripes

Bummer. (And I ended up having this crazy dream about watching it last night and wondering why the plot wasn't anything like I'd seen described...) Is the Simpsons season still available?

cat9 would be interested in the Cadfael mysteries, and I'm interested in Pirates of the Carribbean.

I'm surprised that you own a couple of those...

Yes. Most of these to be given away were either poorly chosen gifts at some point, or duplicates.

The Cadfaels and PotC are yours.

It's yours, but I've been informed there may be a defect. I will check it out before handing it over.

There are some major scratches on the disc. I apologize, but it doesn't make sense to give you a non-working disc.

I would grab Angel Season 1. I'm surprised you're getting rid of it, though?

This reminds me of when, two years after the wedding, Dan and I merged our paperback collections, gave away the duplicates, and Doug was heard to exclaim "oh, so now you're really married!"

I never really liked Angel that much, but apparently I stopped watching it before it got good. If a show takes more than a season and a half to get good, I don't have the time for it. To be frank, I didn't like the last two seasons of Buffy either.

Maybe some day I'll get into it, but then I'll just pick up the complete boxed set.

Angel is yours. I can send it back to your part of the world with Andrew Zorowitz when I see him next weekend, if you like.

Let me know what you're interested in and if it falls through for some reason, I can offer it to you.

At some point we'll be weeding down some of the books as well.
